Mondomusica Cremona

17 September 3912
Cremona Musica Special Edition, 26th-27th September 2020.

At Amorim Fine Violins, we are so excited to take part in this year’s special edition of Mondomusica Cremona. This year’s event will feature both a digital platform and live events, with an exhibition of instruments from Cremonese master luthiers.

Here is a rundown of what’s to come at Mondomusica Cremona 2020.

Digital Showcase

This year, the event will be held in part on a virtual platform, on the Cremona Musica website. The platform will also be accessible after the 27th September, meaning more chance to explore everything on offer. Each maker and distributor will have their own webpage with personalised content, including detailed instrument descriptions, photos and videos, as well as information on the company itself.

Cremonese Violinmaking Exhibition

Cremonafiere will once again be turning the beautiful town hall rooms into exhibition spaces for violinmakers. The rooms will be open from 10am-7pm, on the 26th and 27th September. The exhibition will be showcasing the Cremonese master luthiers’ instruments, alongside those featured on the digital platform.

Speed Date Event at Cremona Musica

The speed date event will be streamed online to the Cremona Musica website, from the G. Arvedi Auditorium. Each participant will have approximately 25 minutes to present their instrument and showcase a musician playing it. The online audience will then be able to contact the participants at the end of the presentation, through the Cremona Musica digital platform.

The presentation will take place during the event and further details can be found by visiting the Events Programme through the link below.

Amorim Fine Violins Workshop

Whilst the event is running, our workshop will be open to visitors, so you can come in and try out our instruments. We look forward to seeing lots of new faces, as well as those of you who already know us!

We will be open on both exhibition days from 9 am to 6 pm. Our workshop is located next to the Museo del Violino, at Piazza Marconi, 7B. Let us know if you are planning on seeing us and we will be able to book you an appointment. We can then better dedicate our time to assisting you.

To make an appointment, please email us at or message us on WhatsApp (+55 41 99811-0044).

Instagram Live Performance

Whilst we cannot perform our usual workshop concert to an audience, we will be streaming a special performance live on our Instagram, at 8 PM CEST on the 26th of September. The solo violin concert, performed by Simone Spadino, will be played on a violin by Luiz Amorim. This instrument is a copy of Guarneri ”del Gesù”, Cessole 1736 and is a performance you won’t want to miss!

This year may be a little different, but we are so excited to still come together and celebrate our industry with the elite of international violin making. We hope to see all of you there!
